Dan Loosen co-founded The GOAT Store with Gary Heil. He has worked with the developers for each game published through GOAT Store Publishing to ensure quality. He also is designing the game Amnesia: Psychic Spelunker, and the game R3K, which is a remake of a game he and Gary designed for the Atari Lynx in the 1990's.
He holds a yearly classic gaming convention known as the Midwest Gaming Classic, where new Dreamcast games have been revealed each year the convention was held since GOAT Store Publishing was formed.
